May 15, 2020 Update: Our thoughts and well wishes go out to all those affected by COVID-19 in our community and around the world. We encourage those who feel ill to please stay at home to help reduce the risk of this virus from further affecting our community and for those who are healthy to please limit their time outside their home as they can be carriers or become infected as well.
To help protect our community and the shoppers that visit our sales, we have made the decision not to schedule any in-person estate sales until CDC guidelines state that it is safe for large gatherings.
In the meantime, for sales located in LA County we will be following the new "Curbside Pickup" rules which were just released yesterday. Rather than hosting in-person estate sales, we will now offer a new "Virtual Estate Sale" platform to our clients where we will sell the contents of the home online: first-come, first-served – much like a traditional estate sale. After paying for everything online, we will then have the items available for pickup. Please note that some cities are limited the scale of "Curbside Pickup" even though LA County is allowing it. These limits largely pertain to zoning and do vary city by city. We will only run these virtual sales if allowed by the city. Sales located in Orange and Ventura counties may have restrictions as well, which we will continue to follow.
As a small business the past few months have been tough on us but we must all do our best to help stop the spread of this virus. We are all in this together. We ask all those in our community to please follow all CDC, CDPH and local guidelines. As we move through the following months we will continue to reassess whether hosting in-person estate sales are feasible and will continue to follow government issued guidelines until this health crisis has subsided. We thank you for your business, and please take care of yourself and your family members as we move through this difficult time.
